Following discussions with Dr Joseph B. Tandoh, Director of the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI), about how I can contribute to the development of space science and technology in Ghana. I developed an exploratory prototype to demonstrate how the institution's web presence could be modernised.
The project focused on improving accessibility, structure, and usability, with a modern, mobile-friendly, UI/UX interface and a simple content management system (CMS) to make updates easier for staff members. The goal was to present GSSTI's work, research, and goals more clearly and engagingly.
This was an independently developed concept, built to explore how digital infrastructure can better support communications, outreach, and collaboration for emerging space institutions.
The project was not taken forward, but it provided valuable insights into working with institutional requirements and translating ideas into functional systems.
